I come from a farming background and fully understand how essential air conditioning is in the modern cab. I provide an honest efficient service and I am happy to provide this within the constraints of a busy business. I take the time to explain the problem with your air conditioning system. I have the facilities to do services and/or repairs on site i.e. on a tip or in the field.
The average air conditioning system will naturally lose 10% of its gas charge per year and this is one of the reasons why it is recommended to have the system serviced every two years. Any losses greater than 10% per year would be classed as a leak in the system.

A service (regas) will entail:
- Oxygen free nitrogen pressure testing if the system has no gas pressure
- Removal and weighing of existing gas from the system
- Evacuation of the system for 30 minutes using a two stage vacuum pump which allows any moisture to boil off
- Top up the system with the correct type of oil
- Weigh in the gas to the vehicle manufacturers recommended amount
- Add ultraviolet dye leak detector to the system
- Check over the whole system including drive belts, cleanliness of condenser, cabin vent temperatures to check the system is working to its maximum efficiency.
- To do this job correctly will take at least one hour
If leaks are located, the relevant parts can be sourced and replaced at competitive rates.
If your vehicle cabin smells like a musty room or like wet socks, the chances are you could have a bacterial, fungal or mould growth on the evaporator which should be cleaned and purified. The latest bomb type cleaners are used.
Please remember that air conditioning can be used in conjunction with the heater to dehumidify the interior and windows
